      Ingredients
        

      • Non-Stick Cooking Spray
      • 10 tbsp unsalted butter
      • 3 cloves garlic minced
      • 1(3-pound) whole chicken neck and giblets removed
      • as required salt and ground black pepper

      Instructions
       

      • Preheat your oven to 400 °F.
      • Arrange an oven rack in the lower portion of oven.
      • Grease a large roasting pan withcooking spray.
      • Place the butter and garlic in a small pan over mediumheat and cook for about 1-2 minutes.
      • Remove the pan from heat and let it cool for about 2minutes.
      • Season the inside and outside of chicken evenly with saltand black pepper.
      • Arrange the chicken into a prepared roasting pan, breastside up.
      • Pour the garlic butter over and inside of the chicken.
      • Bake for about 1-1½ hours, basting with the pan juicesafter every 20 minutes.
      • Remove from oven and place the chicken onto a cutting boardfor about 5-10 minutes before carving.
      • Cut into desired-sizedpieces and serve.
