      What Is A Chocolate Truffle?

      Chocolate Truffles

The name “truffle” comes from their resemblance to the mushroom-like fungus of the same name, which is considered a delicacy. Aside from chocolate, the main ingredient in Chocolate truffles is heavy cream. All truffles are essentially fine chocolate and cream with a ganache filling.

How to Properly Roll the Sticky Creamy Truffles?

This is the most delicious variety of extra creamy truffles. The disadvantage of creamy truffles is that they are difficult to roll. Follow these tricks to make them slightly less sticky to roll.

      • First of all, you can use rubber gloves or cocoa powder to protect your hands.
      • Then, scoop the truffle mixture into mounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
      • Refrigerate the mounds for 20-30 minutes to allow them to “dry out.”

Why Does My Chocolate Not Melt Properly?

One successful truffle technique is to chop the chocolate into very small pieces. The smaller the chocolate chunks, the faster they will melt. Furthermore, the chocolate may not melt if the cream is not hot enough. Before pouring it over the chocolate, make sure it’s still warm. If the chocolate is still not melting, place the heat-resistant bowl over a pot of 1-inch simmering water and stir until melted.

How to Thicken the Ganache for This Recipe?

The ganache will not thicken unless you use pure chocolate rather than chocolate chips and heavy cream. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish to speed up the thickening process. Finally, place it in the refrigerator to thicken.
