Cinnamon Donuts

One of the bestbaked donuts for a special dessert treat…These soft and fluffydonuts arecoatedwith melted butter and then rolled in a cinnamon sugar mixture.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (measured solid, then melted)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp unsalred butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat youroven to 350 ºF.
  • Generously grease a donut pan with cooking spray.
  • For donuts: ina large-sized bowl, place almond flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and saltand mix well.
  • In anotherbowl, add eggs, milk, butter and vanilla extract and beat until well blended.
  • In the bowl offlour mixture, add the egg mixture and mix until well blended.
  • Place themixture into the prepared donut holes about ¾ of the way full.
  • Bake forapproximately 22-28 minutes.
  • Remove thedonut pan from oven and place onto a cooling rack to cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, forcoating: in a small-sized bowl, add sugar and cinnamon and mix well.
  • Carefully remove the donuts from pan and transfer onto a cutting board.
  • Coat the donutswith melted butter evenly and then roll into cinnamon sugar.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Do not overmix the donut batter.
