Anjou pears
halved and cored

ground cinnamon

pure maple syrup

pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 °F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Carefully, cut a small sliver off theunderside of each pear half.
Arrange the pear halves onto the preparedbaking sheet, cut side upwards and sprinkle with cinnamon.
In a small bowl, add the maple syrup and vanillaextract and beat well.
Reserve about 2 tablespoons of the maplesyrup mixture.
Place the remaining maple syrup mixture overthe pears and bake for about 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and immediately drizzlewith the reserved maple syrup mixture.
Serve warm.
Notes
You can serve these pears with a topping of crunchy granola.
