Baked Pears

A super simple and easy recipe of pears that arebaked with perfection…These pears are completely infused with a combo of maplesyrup, cinnamon and vanilla extract.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Anjou pears halved and cored
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 °F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Carefully, cut a small sliver off theunderside of each pear half.
  • Arrange the pear halves onto the preparedbaking sheet, cut side upwards and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • In a small bowl, add the maple syrup and vanillaextract and beat well.
  • Reserve about 2 tablespoons of the maplesyrup mixture.
  • Place the remaining maple syrup mixture overthe pears and bake for about 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately drizzlewith the reserved maple syrup mixture.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

You can serve these pears with a topping of crunchy granola.
