Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • tsp salt
  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 12 day-old sandwich bread slices

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, add the milk, eggs, sugar,vanilla extract and salt and beat until well combined.
  • Grease a griddle with cooking spray and heat overmedium heat.
  • Dip 1 bread slice in egg mixture and soak forabout 30 seconds per side.
  • Place the slice in griddle and cook for about1-2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  • Repeat with the remaining slices.
  • Serve warm

Notes

Use thick-cut slices of bread.
