▢

water

light brown sugar

unsalted butter

Salt and black pepper

Instructions
In a large saucepan, add carrots, water, brown sugar and butter over medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat to low and cook, covered for about 6 minutes.
Increase the heat to high and cook, covered for about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in salt and black pepper and remove from heat.
Serve warm.
Notes
Look for firm and plump baby carrots.
