Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté onions, ginger, and green chili for about 30 seconds.
Add the tuna and stir fry for about 2-3 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and transfer the tuna mixture onto a large bowl. Set aside to cool.
In the bowl of tuna mixture, add mashed potato, celery, and salt and mix well.
Make 4 equal-sized patties from the mixture.
In a shallow bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
In another bowl, beat the egg.
Coat each patty with breadcrumbs, then dip into egg and finally, again coat with the breadcrumbs.
Grease the Air Fryer Basket with cooking spray and then slide inside.
Adjust the temperature of Air Fryer to 390 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
After preheating, arrange the tuna cakes into the greased Air Fryer Basket in a single layer.
Slide the basket into Air Fryer and set the time for 8 minutes.
After 3 minutes of cooking, flip the tuna cakes.
After cooking time is finished, remove the tuna cakes from Air Fryer and serve.
