Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice subes (crushed) A cold Pyrex baking dish, covered with plastic wrap will chill the granita nicely.

Instructions
 

  • In a high-speed blender, add the berries, maplesyrup, lemon juice, and ice cubes and pulse on high speed until smooth.
  • Transfer the berry mixture into an 8x8-inchbaking dish, spread evenly, and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  • Remove from the freezer and, with a fork, stirthe granita completely.
  • Freeze for 2-3 hours,stirring every 30 minutes with a fork.
