Blueberry Sorbet

A yummy, light andrefreshing frozen dessert… This blueberry sorbet will be great for summertimedinner parties.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups fresh blueberries
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest grated
  • pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, place the blueberries, honey,sugar,lemon juice, lemon zest and salt and mix well.
  • With a potato masher, mash the blueberries.
  • In a blender, add the mashed blueberries and pulseuntil smooth.
  • Through a fine mesh strainer, strain themixture into a large bowl, pressing with the back of a large spoon.
  • Refrigerate the bowl of blueberry mixture forat least 1 hour.
  • Transfer the mixture into an ice cream makerand process according to manufacturer’s directions.
  • Now, transfer into an airtight container andfreeze for at least 4-5 hours before serving.

Notes

You can adjust the ratio of sweetness according to your taste.
