Ingredients

BBq sauce

whisky

Dijon mustard

Instructions
In a small pan, mix together BBQ sauce, whiskey and sugar overmedium-high heat and bring to a boil.
Immediately remove from heat and stir in the Dijon mustard.
Set aside to cool completely.
Meanwhile, with a sharp knife, cut each wing through the joints toseparate the drumettes.
Sprinkle the wings with salt and black pepper generously.
In a sealable bag, add chicken wings and sauce.
Seal the bag and shake to coat well.
Refrigerate overnight.
Soak cherry wood chips in water for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the smoker to 250 °F, using charcoal andsoaked cherry wood chips.
Remove the wings from bag and discard any excess marinade.
Arrange the wings in a large shallow aluminum pan in a single layer.
Place the pan in smoker.
Cook for about 2 hours.
Serve hot.
Notes
For a good non-alcoholic alternative, you can use apple or white grape juice.
