Ingredients
  

  • 1(12-fluid ounces) can low-fat evaporated milk Before brûléeing the top, thecustard must be set in the refrigerator for several hours to prevent soupycustard.
  • 4 large eggs beaten
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 6 tsp powdered sugar Use high-quality ingredients.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 325 ºF.
  • In a bowl, add the evaporated milk, eggs, granulatedsugar, vanilla extract and salt and beat until well combined.
  • Place the mixture evenly into 6 (6-ounce)ramekins evenly.
  • Arrange the ramekins in a baking dish.
  • Add hot water in the baking dish, about 1-inch up sides ofthe ramekins.
  • Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes or untilgently set in centers.
  • Remove the baking dish from oven and let the ramekins coolslightly.
  • Refrigerate the ramekins for at least 4 hours.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle the ramekins evenly withpowdered sugar.
  • Holding a kitchen torch about 4-5-inch from the top,caramelize the sugar for about 2 minutes.
  • Set aside for 5 minutes before serving.
