Instructions
Preheat the ovento 375 degrees °F.
In a bowl, addeggs, half-and-half, sugar, flour, salt and vanilla extract and beat until wellcombined.
Heat a 12-inchcast-iron skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.
Add butter in theskillet and le it melt completely.
Remove the skilletfrom the heat and swirl to coat completely.
In the butteredskillet, place the cherries and then arrange evenly.
Place the eggmixture over the cherries evenly.
Bake for about 30minutes.
Remove the skilletfrom oven and place onto a wire rack to cool slightly before slicing.
Sprinkle withpowdered sugar and serve.
Notes
Serve this clafoutis with the topping of vanilla custard.
