Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 °F.
Lightly grease a squarebaking dish withcookingspray.
Melt butter and chocolate ina saucepan over medium heat.
Add milk and cook for about 5minutes, stirring occasionally or until thickened.
Remove the pan of chocolatemixturefrom heat.
Set aside to cool slightly.
Cut the bread into largepieces.
Spread the bread pieces intothe prepared baking dishevenly.
In a bowl, whisk togethereggs, granulated sugar and vanillaextract.
Add in warm chocolate mixtureand beat until well combined.
Pour chocolate mixture overbread pieces evenly.
Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
Remove the baking dish ofbread pudding from oven and cool at least 10 minutes.
Dust with confectioners'sugar, before serving.
Notes
For best result, use 1-day stale bread.
