Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3-4 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 °F.
  • For crust: in a medium bowl, add flour, butterand sugar and mix until well combined.
  • Place the mixture into an ungreased 9x13-inchbaking dish and with the back of a spoon, press into the bottom
  • Bake for about 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, for filling: in a bowl, add sugarand flour and mix well.
  • Add eggs and beat until well combined.
  • Add in the lemon juice and beat until smooth.
  • Place the filling over the baked crust evenly.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes.
  • Remove the baking dish of bars from oven andset aside to cool completely.
  • Cut into equal-sized bars and serve.

Notes

Make sure to use freshly squeezed lemon juice.
