Instructions
In a bowl, add the chicken, cheddar cheese and hot sauce and mix well.
In 2 separate shallow dishes, place eggs and breadcrumbs respectively.
Arrange1 wonton wrapper onto a smoothsurface.
Place about 1 heaping teaspoon of chickenmixture in the center of the wonton.
With wet fingers, moisten the edge of thewonton wrapper lightly.
Fold 1corner diagonally across to the other corner to create a triangle.
Press the seam lightly to seal the filling.
Brush the wonton with egg white lightly andthen coat with the breadcrumbs.
Repeat with the remaining wonton wrappers andfilling.
In a deep pan, heat the oil over medium heat and fry the wontons in 4 batches forabout 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
With a slotted spoon, transfer wontons onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Serve warm.
Notes
These wontons will be more flavorful if served with sweet chili sauce.
