Chicken with Cabbage

A fast and easy-to-prepare chicken with cabbage…The chicken is soft and tenderchicken compliments the cabbage and seasoning sauce in a great way.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp ginger powder
  • as required salt and ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp sesame oil
  • tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2(5-ounce) skinless,boneless chicken breasts sliced thinly
  • tbsp coconut oil divided
  • ½ onion sliced thinly
  • ½ large head cabbage sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, black pepper,sesame oil and vinegar.
  • Add the chicken and coat with mixture generously and set aside for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of coconut oil over medium-high heat andstir fry the chicken for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Transferthe chicken onto a plate.
  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining oil over medium heat and cook the onionand cabbage for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Add the chicken, honey and soy sauce and cook for about 5-6 minutes or untildesired doneness.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

For more flavoring, add in some cooked and crumbled bacon.
