Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
In a pan of lightly salted boiling water, cook the pastafor about 8-10 minutes or according to package’s instructions.
Through a strainer, drain the pasta and then rinse withcold water.
In a large non-stick wok, heat oil over medium heat andsauté the shallots and garlic for about 45-60 seconds.
Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirringcontinuously.
Add in the broth, milk, thyme, lemon zest, nutmeg, saltand black pepper and stir to combine.
Stir in the chicken cubes and peas and cook for about 2-3minutes or until heated completely.
Stir in the cheese and cooked noodles and remove from theheat.
In a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and butter.
Place the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dishevenly and sprinkle with the breadcrumb mixture.
Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until top becomes goldenbrown.
Serve hot.
Notes
You can use cheddar cheese in place of Swiss cheese.
