Simple Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
  

  • lb ground chicken
  • 1 egg
  • ½ yellow onion grated
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp dried parsley
  • as required salt and ground black pepper
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 6 burger buns split
  • 6 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomatoes sliced

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, add ground chicken, egg, onion, thyme, saltand pepper and mix until well combined.
  • Make 6equal-sized patties from the mixture.
  • In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat and cook the patties for about5-6 minutes per side or until done completely.
  • Place one lettuce leaf over the bottom half of each bun, followed by onepatty and tomato slices.
  • Cover each with the bun top and serve.

Notes

You can add a topping of your choice to these burgers.
