Air Fryer Taco Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ cup bell pepper seeded and chopped
  • 10 ounces canned diced tomatoes and green chilies with juices
  • 3 tbsp taco seasoning
  • ¼ cup water
  • cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  • Lightly grease a casserole dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef for about 5 minutes.
  • Drain the grease from skillet.
  • Stir in the bell pepper, tomatoes, taco seasoning and water and cook for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and set aside to cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, add heavy cream, sour cream and eggs and beat until well.
  • In the bottom of prepared casserole dish, place the beef mixture evenly and top with egg mixture.
  • Slide the Air Fryer Basket inside and adjust the temperature to 300 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
  • After preheating, arrange the casserole dish into the Air Fryer Basket.
  • Slide the basket into Air Fryer and set the time for 20 minutes.
  • After 17 minutes of cooking, top the casserole with cheese evenly. 
  • After cooking time is finished, remove the casserole dish from Air Fryer and serve.
