Air Fryer Chicken Omelet

Ingredients
  

  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • ½ jalapeno pepper seeded and chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • as required salt and ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup cooked chicken shredded

Instructions
 

  • Lightly grease a small baking pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat and cook the onion for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Add the jalapeño pepper and cook for about 1 minute.
  • Remove from the heat and set aside to cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, in a bowl, add the eggs, salt, and black pepper and beat well.
  • Add the onion mixture and chicken and stir to combine.
  • Place the chicken mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  • Slide the Air Fryer Basket inside and adjust the temperature to 355 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
  • After preheating, arrange the baking pan into the Air Fryer Basket.
  • Slide the basket into Air Fryer and set the time for 6 minutes.
  • After cooking time is finished, remove the baking pan from Air Fryer and set aside for about 5 minutes.
  • Cut into equal-sized wedges and serve.
