Air Fryer Fried Banana Slices

These super-delicious fried banana slices are sweet and gooey.

Ingredients
  

  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 3 tbsp white rice flour divided
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 1.4 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • pinch salt
  • as required water
  • 2 medium ripe bananas peeled

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow bowl, blend together 2 tablespoons of rice flour, all-purpose flour, cornflour, coconut, baking powder, cardamom, and salt.
  • Gradually add enough water and mix until a thick and smooth mixture forms.
  • In a second bowl, place the remaining rice flour.
  • Cut each banana into half and then cut each half in 2 pieces lengthwise.
  • Dip the banana slices into the coconut mixture and then coat with the remaining rice flour.
  • Adjust the temperature of Air Fryer to 392 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
  • Adjust the temperature of Air Fryer to 392 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
  • After preheating, arrange the banana slices into the prepared Air Fryer Basket in a single layer.
  • Slide the basket into Air Fryer and set the time for 15 minutes.
  • While cooking, flip the banana slices once halfway through.
  • After cooking time is finished, remove the banana slices from Air fryer and place onto plates to cool slightly
  • Serve warm.
