What Is the Shelf Life of Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds?

Chocolate-covered almonds will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 weeks. To keep the chocolate coating from sticking together, store them with parchment paper between each layer.

Should Chocolate-Covered Almonds Be Kept in The Refrigerator?

Refrigerate them in a mason jar for up to two weeks. Freeze them in an airtight container for up to one month to extend their shelf life.

Why My Chocolate-Covered Almonds Turn White?

It’s actually because of sugar bloom. Sugar blooms happen when moisture comes into contact with chocolate, it dissolves the sugar crystals on the surface, leaving a white, powdery appearance.

      Can I Use Roasted Almonds?

If you have the time, chocolate-covered roasted almonds have a rich flavor and a satisfying crunch.

Place the whole almonds in a small roasting pan and bake for 6-8 minutes in a preheated oven (350°F). Shake the pan occasionally to prevent the nuts from scorching.

How Should I Store These Dark Chocolate-Covered Almonds?

Refrigerate them in a mason jar for up to two weeks. Freeze them in an airtight container for up to one month to extend their shelf life.
