Instead of using your oven, use an air fryer to quickly make a dessert-like Air Fryer Caramelized Pears. Top with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and a dollop of vanilla ice cream. For larger air fryers, the recipe can be easily doubled.

This air fryer caramelized pear recipe is fast and straightforward to make, and it elevates your desserts to the next level!

Baked pears are elegant yet accessible, full of terrific flavor, and made with fresh fruit! They appear luxurious, but they are also a healthier option over various other desserts.

Why Make Air Fryer Caramelized Pears?

Making exceptional desserts is not always feasible and easy, which is why I adore this recipe. It is a sophisticated dessert that’s surprisingly simple to create and rapidly gets ready using an air fryer.

In the air fryer, the sugar caramelizes slightly, giving the pears a lovely, glossy sheen and creating a lovely caramel paste in the pan for dishing. They’re just as wonderful as baked pears, but they’re done in half the time!

Which Pears Should I Use to Make This Recipe?

Anjou, Bosc, and Bartlett pears are tasty and can be found throughout the year.

You can use any fresh pear, pear half, or pear slices will do. However, choose your pear carefully. Bosc pears are lovely, and their flavor already has a trace of cinnamon and nutmeg. Pears such as Anjou and Bartlett are other terrific choices for this recipe.

How to Serve These Air Fryer Caramelized Pears?

Serve the air-fried pears with the pan sauce poured over them, or top with additional caramel paste when you have any. Serve with vanilla ice cream, yogurt, or whipped cream on top. Enjoy!

      What Are Their Storage Options?

Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight jar for up to 3 days.

You can use your air fryer to reheat the caramelized pears by placing them in a small baking dish and air-frying them for 3-4 minutes at 320°F/ 160°C until warm. Alternatively, microwave them at high temperature for 1-2 minutes.
