      Air Fryer Donuts is our go-to meal for odd-time cravings. It is the yummiest dessert. You can make these delicious donuts easily at home. Your kids will love them too.

      The air fryer takes significantly less time to bake them. Therefore, if you opt for them, your family will be able to enjoy these super soft and flavorful donuts in no time.

      Can I Warm Up Donuts in an Air Fryer?

      Donuts can be preserved for some time. That said, you can warm up every time you eat them. The air fryer can do this job perfectly. It not only warms up the donuts but also keeps their content fresh.

      Keep the temperature low and heat them for 2-3 minutes. They would be fresh, soft, and warm again.

      How Can I Add More Taste to Air Fryer Donuts?

      You can add more taste to your donuts. The donuts become flavorful with some toppings. You can apply chocolate, honey, or cream to them and can also sprinkle some sweet content over them. Your donuts will become more delicious.

      You can also have them with your coffee or tea.

      How Much Temperature is Required to Bake Soft Donuts in an Air Fryer?

      Air fryer baking requires extra care. Make sure that you do not alter the temperature given in the recipe. To bake donuts, you need to keep the temperature at 355° F. You need to preheat the air fryer at the same temperature.

      At 355° F, your donuts will be ready after cooking time. They will be soft, sweet, and perfectly baked.

      How Much Time is Required to Bake Donuts in an Air Fryer?

      It would be best to keep an eye on the time to bake donuts in an air fryer. The donuts will be ready in 5 minutes. So, adjust the time of an air fryer to 5 minutes. Make sure to preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes.

      Ingredients
        

      • ¼ cup sugar
      • 1 tbsp butter softened
      • 1 egg yolk
      • 1 cup plain flour plus 2 tbsp
      • ¾ tsp baking powder
      • ½ tsp salt
      • ¼ cup sour cream
      • 1 tbsp butter melted
      • Non-Stick Cooking Spray
      • 3-4 tbsp caster sugar
      • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

      Instructions
       

      • In a large bowl, add the sugar and 1 tablespoon of softened butter and whisk until crumbly mixture forms.
      • Add the egg yolks and whisk until well combined.
      • In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
      • Divide the flour mixture in 3 portions.
      • Add first portion of flour mixture and ½ of sour cream in the bowl of sugar mixture and mix well.
      • Add the second portion of flour mixture, and remaining sour cream and mix well.
      • Now add the remaining portion and mix until a dough forms.
      • Refrigerate the dough before rolling.
      • Now place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll into 2-inch thickness.
      • With a floured donut cutter, cut the dough.
      • Coat both sides of each donut with melted butter.
      • Grease the Air Fryer Basket with cooking spray and then slide inside.  
      • Adjust the temperature of Air Fryer to 355 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
      • After preheating, arrange the donuts into the greased Air Fryer Basket in a single layer.
      • Slide the basket into Air Fryer and set the time for 8 minutes.
      • Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
      • After cooking time is finished, remove the donuts from Air Fryer and place onto a platter to cool completely.
      • Sprinkle the donuts with cinnamon sugar and serve.
