What Prevents the Bananas in Banana Pudding from Turning Brown?

Traditionally, the pudding is topped with meringue or whipped cream, which seals the top and prevents the bananas from being exposed to air. Moreover, the custard also protects the bananas.

How Long Can Homemade Banana Pudding Be Stored?

The pudding can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. The banana slices do not turn brown, but the wafers continue to soften over time.

Why Does My Banana Pudding Turn Out Runny?

If you mix it too quickly, it will become too watery. If you mix it too little, the ingredients will not combine properly. The key is to determine how much mixing is required to achieve the desired thickness of the pudding.

Is It Possible to Freeze Banana Pudding?

Banana pudding does not keep well in the freezer. Because this recipe is so simple, making it right before serving should be no problem! There will be no leftovers, believe us.
