Stuffed peppers in the air fryer are a filling and excellent dinner entree. The best of all is that they can be made with different stuffing like brown rice, Mariana sauce, meat sausages, Italian seasonings, and veggies of your choice.

Is it Necessary to Pre-Cook the Peppers Before Stuffing Them?
Before cooking, several stuffed bell pepper recipes ask for pre-cooking the peppers. Others do not pre-cook them, resulting in a crispy texture (as done in this recipe).

Air Fryer Veggies Stuffed Bell Peppers
Ingredients
- 6 large bell pepper
- 1 bread roll finely chopped
- 1 carrot peeledand finely chopped
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 potato finely chopped
- ½ cup fresh peas shelled
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp fresh parsley chopped
- as required salt and ground black pepper
- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
- ⅓ cup cheddar cheese grated
Instructions
- Remove the tops of each bell pepper and discard the seeds.
- Finely chop the bell pepper tops.
- In a bowl, place bell pepper tops, bread loaf, vegetables, garlic, parsley, salt and black pepper and mix well.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the vegetable mixture.
- Grease the Air Fryer Basket with cooking spray and then slide inside.
- Adjust the temperature of Air Fryer to 350 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
- After preheating, arrange the bell peppers into the greased Air Fryer Basket in a single layer.
- Slide the basket into Air Fryer and set the time for 25 minutes.
- After cooking time is finished, remove the bell peppers from Air Fryer and serve.
