Why Should You Make Glazed Turkey Breast in the Air Fryer?
There are many reasons why we love making this dish, and we recommend it to you. Let me share some reasons with you.
Firstly, it’s an air fryer recipe! Cooking in the air fryer is faster and easier. This way, you can make room in the oven for all those delicious side dishes and pastries!
Secondly, who doesn’t love juicy meat with a delicious flavor! On turkey, the combination of maple syrup and Dijon mustard, with a hint of dried sage and smoked paprika, is fantastic!
Thirdly, it was a tremendous variation from the regular turkey supper! Turkey breast is a terrific method to feed 2-4 people for a small holiday lunch.
Tips and Suggestions:
Thawed Turkey – Ensure your turkey breast is adequately thawed and at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
Boneless Breast – Make sure there is nothing inside the turkey breast cavity; there may be a turkey gravy packet if it is a bone-in breast. A boneless turkey breast may cook more quickly than a bone-in turkey breast.
Digital Thermometer – Ensure your meat thermometer is available not to undercook or overcook the turkey breast.
Rub Mixture – If you have a skin-on breast, make sure you rub the butter in both directions. This is an excellent technique to add moisture to the turkey as it cooks. You can double the rub mixture if desired.
