      Making this forever favorite meal in your air fryer is a new trick to have drumsticks that are tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Moreover, air fryer spicy chicken legs are easy to cook in just a few minutes.

      Especially if you want your whole family to enjoy it, have the drumsticks with some Cheese, Casserole, and Creamy Corn Macroni.

      What is the Best Way to Store Drumsticks?

      The best way to store chicken legs for a few days (3-5 days) is to refrigerate them in a Ziploc bag or airtight container. You can also freeze them for a month or two.

      What Are Some Good Dipping Sauces for Chicken Legs?

      On their own, these chicken legs have a lot of taste. However, they can also be very flavourful with dipping sauces like ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, or the BBQ sauce you like most.

      Some Pro Tips to Make Best Air Fryer Chicken Legs:

      Dry the Chicken: To get crispier skinned drumsticks, blot them dry using a paper towel before coating them in oil and spices.

      Preheat the Air Fryer: Make sure your air fryer is preheated. Like using the oven, it is essential to ensure that the air fryer is hot and ready to go with the desired temperature.

      Do Not Overfill: Never overfill your air fryer with the chicken legs, as the air won’t circulate properly, and the chicken legs won’t cook evenly.

      Ingredients
        

      • 3 (8-ounces) chicken legs
      • 1 cup buttermilk
      • 2 cups white flour
      • 1 tsp garlic powder
      • 1 tsp onion powder
      • 1 tsp ground cumin
      • 1 tsp paprika
      • as required salt and ground black pepper
      • Non-Stick Cooking Spray

      Instructions
       

      • In a bowl, add the chicken legs and buttermilk and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
      • In another bowl, mix together the flour, spices, salt and black pepper.
      • Remove the chicken from buttermilk.
      • Coat the chicken legs with flour mixture, then dip into buttermilk and finally coat with the flour mixture again.
      • Grease the Air Fryer Basket with cooking spray and then slide inside.  
      • Adjust the temperature of Air Fryer to 360 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
      • Spray the chicken legs with cooking spray evenly.
      • After preheating, arrange the chicken legs into the greased Air Fryer Basket in a single layer.
      • Slide the basket into Air Fryer and set the time for 20-25 minutes.
      • After cooking time is finished, remove the chicken legs from Air Fryer and serve.
