- 4 cups sweet cherries stemmed,pitted and halved
- ⅓ cup brown sugar (divided) plus 1 tbsp
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- 1(12-imch) round chilled pie dough
