Is Cobbler the Same as Crumble?

Cobblers are distinguished from crisps and crumbles by the presence of a biscuit topping on top of the cooked fruit. The biscuits are typically dropped in small rounds onto the fruit, giving it the appearance of a cobbled road, hence the name.

How to Peel Peaches the Right Way?

      Peeling Peaches for Peach Cobbler:

The simplest way to peel peaches is to gently lower 2-3 peaches at a time into a pot of boiling water. Remove them from the water after about 30 seconds and place them in an ice-water bath. The ice water bath will shock them and keep the peach flesh from cooking, but the peach skin will be so easy to peel that no knife is required!

      How to Store Peach Cobbler?

Peach cobbler is best served warm immediately after baking. Refrigerate leftover cobbler for 4-5 days, covered.

      How to Reheat Peach Cobbler?

Use the microwave or oven to reheat the peach cobbler. Remove it from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature before reheating in the oven. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until thoroughly warmed. (If it’s browning too quickly, cover it with tinfoil).
