Do I Need To Use Fresh Strawberries?

Yes! Fresh strawberries are essential for making this cake as they provide flavor and texture to the final product. While frozen strawberries will work in a pinch (make sure they’re thawed first), they won’t have the same impact as fresh ones. So if possible, opt for fresh berries when making this recipe!

Can I use other jams or jelly in my strawberry jelly cake?

Yes, you can use other types of jam or jelly in this recipe! Raspberry jam or blackberry jelly would both work well. Alternatively, you could use your imagination by mixing different jams to create a unique flavor combination. The possibilities are endless!
