Why Make Air Fryer Caramelized Baby Carrots?

These tiny carrots are my favorite because everyone in my household enjoys them. Caramelized carrots are also tasty for dinners because they are sweet but not overly sugary.

Carrots are an excellent and adaptable veggie. The raw carrots can be frozen or kept on hand for weeks. The day you want them, marinate them and introduce them to the air fryer.

In the air fryer, baby carrots are pretty simple to prepare. The good thing about these carrots is that they take around 10 minutes to cook. So, they’ll be done in time for dinner, even if you make them at the last minute.

What You’ll Need to Make Baby Carrots in The Air Fryer?

Baby carrots, butter, brown sugar, oil to spray, and, of course, your air fryer is all you need! That’s how simple this dish is. You can also use salt, peppers, or chili powder for seasoning.

Do I Have to Make This Recipe with Baby Carrots?

Not in the least. Carrot sticks or sliced carrots can be used. I prefer baby carrots since they require less preparation and are already chopped into bite-size pieces. Remember that the cooking time will need to be adjusted for thicker carrots.

      Can Caramelized Carrots Be Frozen?

Unfortunately, freezing caramelized carrots is not recommended. If you freeze them, they’ll turn into mush. Instead, make them from scratch or make them ahead of time and reheat.
