Fresh chicken breast cut into chunks, seasoned with mustard, garlic, onion, black pepper powder, dipped in egg, then breadcrumbs, then baked in the air fryer for 10 minutes without oil is sure to be a success with both kids and adults!
Serve with Air fried vegetables such as air fryer onion rings, fruit salad, and yogurt or dipping sauce.

Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
- ½ zucchini roughly chopped
- ½ carrot roughly chopped
- 14 ounces boneless chicken breast, cut into chunks
- ½ tbsp mustard powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- as required salt and ground black pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Instructions
- In a food processor, add the zucchini and carrot and pulse until finely chopped.
- Add the chicken, mustard powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper and pulse until well combined.
- In a shallow dish, place the flour.
- In a second dish, mix together the milk and egg.
- In a third dish, put the breadcrumbs.
- Coat the nuggets with flour, then dip into the egg mixture and finally, coat with the breadcrumbs.
- Grease the Air Fryer Basket with cooking spray and then slide inside.
- Adjust the temperature of the Air Fryer to 390 °F to preheat for 5 minutes.
- After preheating, arrange the nuggets into the greased Air Fryer Basket in a single layer.
- Slide the basket into Air Fryer and set the time for 10 minutes.
- After cooking time is finished, remove the nuggets from Air Fryer and serve.
