For generations, samosa has been a popular food. Traditionally, they are deep-fried and served with a chutney dipping sauce.

The air fryer frozen samosa eliminates the additional fat in the preparation process, making it healthier than traditional versions. Cooking time is also reduced!

      What Are Samosas?

Samosas are a traditional Indian appetizer or side dish that can be served with tea at snack time. It is made from fried dough wrapped around a filling, usually potatoes and peas (though many variations).

The samosa is a famous Indian cuisine spread to neighboring countries such as Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Bangladesh.

Can I Use an Air Fryer to Cook Frozen Samosas?

Yes, you can make frozen samosas in the air fryer, and you’ll adore them. They can be thrown into the air fryer from frozen, cook quickly, and get deliciously crispy. They are so addicting that you will find it difficult to stop eating them.

Where Can I Buy Frozen Samosas?

You can find frozen samosas in the freezer area of Indian supermarkets and Trader Joe’s, Costco, Whole Foods, Walmart, and other supermarkets.

Frozen samosas with various fillings, including potato and peas samosas, paneer samosas, and cheese and jalapeno samosas, are available. They come in a variety of sizes, including large and tiny samosas.

Should Samosas Be Defrosted Before Frying?

Defrosting the samosas may or may not be necessary, depending on the size of the samosas you’re preparing. It’s best to check the instructions on the package.

Before cooking, large or jumbo samosas must be defrosted. It’s a crucial step; if you skip it, your samosas will be cold from the inside after they’ve been fried in the air fryer.
