What Does Air Fryer Muffin Texture Look Like?
Air fryer muffins have a very similar texture to the muffins baked in an oven. A decent muffin recipe would result in a soft and moist muffin, just like a muffin should be. Air-fried muffins may be slightly less soft, although the difference is insignificant. The taste is unaffected by the texture.
Can I Use Silicone Cups & Paper Baking Cups in an Air Fryer?
Yes, both silicone and paper baking cups/molds can be used in the air fryer. Because silicone cups are more durable than paper cups, they can hold thicker muffin batter and spill less. For this reason, I prefer to use silicone muffin molds.
How to Store the Air Fryer Raisin Muffins?
Easily store your air fryer raisin muffins for a few days in an airtight container at room temperature. These muffins can also be frozen for a few months in an airtight container.
Pro Tips & Tricks:
- Muffins brown more in the air fryer than in the oven, although this does not influence the taste.
- For a special treat, top the muffins with chocolate chips.
- If using a smaller air fryer, the muffins may need to be cooked in two batches.
