Who’d have guessed? There is a proper way to make sweetly spiced toast, and this perfect Air Fryer Sweet Spiced Toasts recipe will demonstrate to you how.

Which other flavors can I add to the butter?

A pinch of fresh grounded peppers adds an appealing touch to the toast. Don’t be frightened to sample the pepper; all you need is a small grind from your pepper mill.

Nutmeg is also good but use it sparingly.

For a truly unique and delicious air fryer sweet and spiced toast, you can also try Indian Coffee Sugar (Cardamom Spiced Vanilla Sugar) blended with melted butter instead of the regular sugar. What a delicious sweet and spiced toast it offers. That will wow you!

Is it possible to make a butter mixture in advance?

Absolutely! Yes, you can. I recommend making a double or triple batch to have flavored butter on hand. I also keep a double batch of this compound butter (mixture) ready and store it in an air-tight container in my refrigerator, then take it out when I need it and let it warm up at room temperature before using it.

Can Ghee be substituted for butter?

I tried using handmade ghee in this recipe because I love it, but it didn’t work. Because there isn’t enough water in the sugar, it doesn’t caramelize as well.

Is it possible to make Air Fryer Sweet Spiced Toasts ahead of time?

You bet it can! The bread slices can be frozen after they’ve been prepared.

When you’re ready to prepare the Air Fryer Sweet Spiced Toasts, take as many slices as you need from the freezer. You do not even need to defrost them.
