How Long Can I Save Air Fryer Candied Walnuts For?

You can save mouth-watering candied walnuts for up to 12 days. That said, you can preserve them for two weeks.

However, if you want to save them more time, preserve them in a closed jar. Make sure that the jar/box is tightly closed. The air will interact with walnuts if the pot is not tightly closed. It will decrease their crispness and might cause the taste to change.

Should I Refrigerate Air Fryer Candied Walnuts?

It is unnecessary to refrigerate this snack. The candied walnuts are crispy textured, and the moistness in the refrigerator decreases this crispiness. So, it is not a good idea to put candied walnuts in a fridge.

However, you can use other methods to store candied walnuts. For example, you can keep them in a tightly closed jar.

How Can I Prevent Air Fryer Candied Walnuts from Getting Sticky?

Just like Air Fryer Sugared Pecans, You can heat candied walnuts in an air fryer very well. If you do not heat them at the right temperature, they will remain partially unheated.

Consequently, the sugar-coated walnuts will not get firm. It will start melting. The walnuts will stick to each other. Hence, keep heating candied walnuts unless the sugar coating is brittle.

What Temperature and Time are Required to Make Candied Walnuts in an Air Fryer?

The right temperature to make candied walnuts in an air fryer is 325° F. Preheat at 325° F for 5 minutes.

After preheating, heat walnuts in an air fryer for 5 minutes. Your crispy, delicious, super sweet candied walnuts are ready to munch on.
