Nothing beats a cheese omelet home-cooked in an air fryer first thing in the morning. It’s simple and wonderful. This is one of my favorites for quick Air Fryer Breakfast Recipes.

To make today’s omelet, I used simple cheddar cheese. It’s the ideal recipe for every hectic morning because it simply requires three ingredients. You can also simply add your favorite omelet toppings to make the omelet that you love.

Why Should I Make an Air Fryer Cheese Omelet?

When compared to a stovetop omelet, an air fryer omelet offers numerous advantages:

Set & forget: Like many Air Fryer recipes, you can make this omelet ahead of time. Preheat the Air Fryer at the same time as whisking the eggs. After that, place the omelet in the pan, set the timer, and walk away. Your omelet will be ready when you return. There’s no need for babysitting or turning the egg off.

Quick to prepare: you can make a cheese omelet using an air fryer in a snap. You can get it on the breakfast table in a matter of minutes.

Fewer dishes: You use a cake pan to whisk the egg and bake it in. There’s no need to clean an extra cup or pan.

What Additions / Variations can I Make?

This recipe calls for merely essential ingredients; however, you can make it with whatever ingredients you have on hand or which go best with cheese omelet. Few variations are listed below.

      • Finely chopped red onions
      • Asparagus
      • Bell peppers
      • Spinach
      • Ham
      • Sliced or chopped jalapeños
      • Cooked crumble bacon
      • Leftover roasted potatoes (chopped)
      • Chopped available cooked chicken

Is It Possible to Freeze an Air Fryer Cheese Omelet?

Yes! You can freeze it. After you’ve finished cooking your cheese omelets, let them cool fully, and then you’ll need to wrap them in a plastic wrap (no less than three layers) to avoid frost damage or rancidity.

Please place them in an airtight container or a Ziploc bag once they’ve been wrapped in plastic. Label the containers and keep them frozen for no more than 3 months.
