What Is Chicken and Broccoli Quiche?

Chicken and broccoli quiche is a savory pie made with chicken, broccoli, eggs, cheese, and a flaky crust. It is a popular brunch or lunch dish and can be served hot or cold.

How Do I Make the Perfect Crust for Chicken and Broccoli Quiche?

To make a perfect crust for chicken and broccoli quiche, use a combination of butter and shortening in the dough to create a flaky and tender crust. Make sure to chill the dough before rolling it out to prevent shrinking during baking.

How Do I Prevent the Quiche from Getting Soggy?

To prevent the quiche from getting soggy, pre-bake the crust before adding the filling. You can also sprinkle a layer of cheese or breadcrumbs on the bottom of the crust to absorb any excess moisture.

How Long Does the Quiche Need to Bake?

The baking time for the quiche can vary depending on the size of the dish and the oven temperature. Generally, it takes about 40-50 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to bake until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.

What Are Some Variations of Chicken and Broccoli Quiche?

You can add other ingredients like mushrooms, spinach, ham, or bacon to the quiche for a different flavor. You can also use different types of cheese or a different type of crust, such as a puff pastry crust or a gluten-free crust.
