- Non-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1½ cup all-purpose flourplus extra for dusting
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 very ripe bananas peeled
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs lightly beaten
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips divided
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 °F.
- Grease a 9¼x5¼-inch loaf pan with cooking spray ad thendust with a little flour.
- In a medium bowl, add the flour, baking soda salt and with a wire whisk, mix well.
- In a second large bowl, add the bananas and with a fork, mash well.
- In a third large bowl, add the butter and sugar and with an electric mixer, beatuntil creamy.
- Add the egg and beat until well combined.
- Add the mashed bananas and vanilla extract and beat until well combined.
- Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Place the mixture into the prepared pan evenly.
- Bake for about 55-65 minutes.
- Remove the loaf pan from oven and place onto a wire rack for about 5-10 minutes.
- Then invert the bread onto the wire rack to cool completely before serving.
