Can I use a different type of chocolate for making Chocolate Skillet Brownie?

Yes, you can use any type of chocolate you like for this recipe. Bittersweet, semisweet, milk chocolate or even white chocolate would all work well in this recipe. Keep in mind that the type of chocolate you use will affect the flavor of the final product.

How do I know when the brownie is done?

The best way to tell if the brownie is done is to insert a toothpick or cake tester into the center of the brownie. If it comes out totally clean or with a few moist crumbs, the brownie is done. If this toothpick comes out with wet batter on it, the brownie needs more time to bake. Keep in mind that oven temperatures can vary, so the baking time may need to be adjusted accordingly.

Can I make this recipe in advance?

Yes, you can make this recipe in advance. Once the brownie is baked and cooled, you can store your brownie in the refrigerator for up to 3 days after wrapping it up in a plastic wrap. When ready to serve, reheat the brownie in a 350°F oven for about 10-15 minutes or until it is warm and gooey.
